It is with heavy hearts that we share the unexpected passing of Timothy Charles Fetting. Born on January 16, 1978, in Ladysmith, Wisconsin. He was called home on Thursday, February 20, 2025, leaving behind a legacy filled with love, laughter, and dedication to his family and community.

Tim embarked on a vast journey in education, first teaching at Thorp High School before taking on the role of technology education teacher at Wausau West High School in 2006. His passion for fostering knowledge and leadership paved the way for him to co-create the Engineering & Global Leadership Academy Charter School in 2010, where he served as lead teacher and became principal in 2013. After two fruitful years at Greenheck Fan Corp, Tim furthered his impact at Northcentral Technical College as the Associate Dean of the School of Engineering & Advanced Manufacturing. He then returned to Greenheck to contribute his expertise as a Customer Training Manager over the last two years.

Throughout his career, Tim was celebrated not just for his professional achievements but also for the warmth he extended to everyone around him. He was known for his funny, kind, helpful, dedicated, and devoted personality, touching the lives of countless students and colleagues. One of his proudest accomplishments came in 2014 when he received the esteemed 20 Under Forty Award, honoring his commitment to education and community.

Tim will be remembered for his kind heart, great sense of humor, and complete dedication to his family. He was always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone who needed it. He spent most of his free time playing with his kids and loved watching them in their many activities. He especially enjoyed coaching his son's youth baseball teams. He loved traveling with family and enjoyed any opportunity to be outdoors, fish, hunt, and golf. His talent for craftmanship was evident in the many home improvement projects he happily completed. He was an avid fan of all Wisconsin sports and loved attending games with family and friends.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Melissa Fetting, and their four children: Brookson, Lucy, Ellie, and Charlie, who brought immeasurable joy and light into his life. He is further survived by his mother, Terri Fetting, of Bruce, WI; sisters, Ricki (Blaine) Bergeron and Traci Gudis; uncles Chuck (Sarah), Rob (Cathey), and Scott (Jane) Fetting; his grandparents, Dave and Cleo Fetting; and his father and mother-in-law, Mark and Anne Swanson, along with his brother-in-law Matthew Swanson and his siblings-in-law, Josh and Sol Swanson, in addition to numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
