Kerry Besaw

Kerry D. Besaw of Nekoosa, WI, passed away on September 18, 2024, at the age 69. Kerry was full of light and love and was known for his generous spirit. In his lifetime, Kerry made many strong connections and touched many lives with his big, kind heart. His passing is a void that can never be filled and will be mourned deeply by everyone who knew and loved him. 

Born on July 3, 1955, to Gerald and Patricia Besaw, Kerry was raised in Maywood, IL where he attended Proviso East High School. He then went on to the U.S. Navy as a plane captain, and was awarded the National Defense Service Medal.

Kerry is survived by one sister, Patricia (Keith) Krysa; one brother, Gordon (Wendy) Besaw; three daughters, Kimberly (Justin) Lust, Laura Besaw and her partner James Morrison, Carolyn (Patrick) Redmond; one son, Stephen Besaw; one stepson, Michael Rook; and eight grandchildren. He loved nothing more than talking about his children and grandchildren. He was their number one fan, and always there to offer his love, support, and encouragement.
